Corporate Chaplains of America

What we believe—our Statement of Faith:

The following is a brief summary of the doctrinal core beliefs of Corporate Chaplains of America. It is not intended to be an exhaustive systematic theology but a framework that we can mutually agree upon.

About the Bible: We believe that the Bible as originally written is the inspired, infallible, and inerrant Word of God and the supreme authority in all matters of faith and conduct.

About God: We believe that there is one and only one living and true God; that He eternally exists as three persons?the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit; that all three are eternally equal in nature, attributes and perfection.

About Jesus: We believe Jesus was conceived of the Holy Spirit by the virgin Mary, lived a physical life on this earth and, being fully God and fully man, was without sin.

About Salvation: We believe that all mankind sins and as such, no one has the ability to save themselves by doing good deeds or by being a ‘good person’. It is only through accepting Jesus Christ as personal Savior and Lord that one can receive eternal life in Heaven. Salvation is available to anyone who acknowledges by faith that Jesus Christ died on the cross for their sins, rose bodily from the grave, and asks Him to forgive them of their sins and save their soul.

About Eternity: We believe that all of mankind will either spend eternity in Heaven or a real and literal Hell.

About Ministry: We believe that, as Christians, it is a responsibility, a duty and a joy to spread the Word of God to all who will listen.

Corporate Chaplains of America

1) Every employee will exemplify holy living. The Lord Jesus Christ is the standard by which we are to understand and judge what a holy life is. We are to conduct ourselves according to the model set forth by Him.
a) Every employee will have a quiet time of devotion and prayer each day. To ignore ones walk with the Lord is to deny the reality of the spiritual warfare that this ministry, and every member of it, is engaged in.
b) All personnel will conduct themselves in a manner that is above reproach and that reveals an attitude of worship towards our Savior and brings glory to His name. He/she will abstain from any activities that do not reflect the purity and holiness of the Lord Jesus Christ.

Every chaplain will hold confidential any and all information pertaining to a client company and its employees. The client’s reputation will be kept in mind during all conversations about a company.

6) Every full-time employee will work only for Corporate Chaplains of America. No full-time employee will accept or continue any other paid position of any kind without the approval of the president of Corporate Chaplains of America. Occasional speaking engagements and/or pulpit supply invitations are permitted, provided they do not conflict with any Corporate Chaplains of America duties. Any interim staff person at any church or ministry will require the president’s approval.

No full-time employee will serve as a trustee or board member of any organization without the approval of the president (any board or committee of the employee’s local church is exempted). Part-time chaplains should also be sensitive to the potential conflicts that may arise by their activities with other organizations.

7) Every employee will maintain a good personal appearance. An employee will care for his/her body as a temple of God and the vehicle through which he/she serves the Lord Jesus Christ.
a) All employees will maintain an adequately high level of physical fitness. He/she will be expected to maintain a proper regimen of diet and exercise.
